I eventually stopped watching this but I really liked her. It's great that she was someone you could relate to, OP.

Imo Royal Pains has great characterization and is pretty consistent about it. I watch it for Boris's plotline, so I fast forward a lot but I like how they deal with problems. I identify with some secondary characters. However there's too many medical things and too many characters so it's not focused enough on these characters' issues but it's something I guess.
