Not numbers, because I've seen far too many bad fics with inflated stats to think they have much value at all, but the kind of comments/reviews that show the reader's really engaged with the story.

Or the ones where they mention that something in the story relates to them IRL and reading your story made them feel better about it. Those are priceless.
