Damn, that sounds GOOOOOOD.

(I admit, I mostly try to hide and ignore my birthday. Some folks are trying to persuade me not to this time, though.)

It's very much the opposite of vegan health cake though orz.

I feel awkward when folk acknowledge it, or try to do something special. I figure if I beat them to the punch, feed myself, and treat them to something, I win everything.

Pfft, it's not vegan health cake. I'm not vegan; I just got the recipe because at the time, I traveled a lot and the recipe didn't require any ingredients that needed refrigeration. It's still SO GOOD though. I glaze it with honey and it's moist and chocolatey and OM NOM NOM.

One of my friends might be getting me a Golem of Prague shirt, but it will have to wait till after my move. Maybe I'll see a movie!

(I'd see Rocky Horror, but the buses stop running here so I'd be stranded, unable to come home. :( )

Took a look at that recipe, and that actually looks like something I want to try :d Normally I switch out dairy for almond, but I was expecting some unobtainable ingredients in this because whooops. It looks like it would be pretty dense or sin incarnate.

Oooh I hope you see a good movie if you do then. No way you could do a ride share for RH?There's an Indiana Jones exhibit going on here, with movie props and tablet tour guides, so I'll be taking my dad to see that on Saturday for sure (maybe raiders of the lost ark in imax too).

Yeah, all the ingredients are really easy to get your hands on. There's a reason I've kept the recipe for so long; it's easy, delicious, and none of the ingredients are expensive!

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone with a car who'd be up for late-night Rocky Horror. :( Maybe Big Hero 6, but it requires two buses to get to, which would be a pain.
