Re: The Crash Override Network

It doesn't read like that to me tbh. I don't think there's anything wrong with offering a paid service for this kind of thing (if it is a paid service; press releases lead me to believe that they're taking clients for free atm), especially when they also have a blog where they'll be posting free/public resources. And I also don't see how it's a revenge fantasy thing?? The site leads me to believe that their main focus is in counseling people and in keeping personal info from getting released/getting personal info taken down, not in sending SWAT teams to arrest doxxers.

She's following their Twitter and apparently spoke as early as September about plans to do something like this, so unless someone's hacked her account or she's following them for the lulz, it's probably legit.

She's screwed no matter what she does, honestly. If she does this, people will talk about how she's a con artist just out to steal vulnerable people's money. If she doesn't do something like this, people will say she's full of hot air and just wants to get famous for being a victim.

I obviously don't know how this is all going to pan out or how useful it will ultimately be, but as it stands I really do not see how this is something to get so worked up over.

I can sort of see OP's point, though. I heard MRAs actually sell those 'men's tears' mugs to "feminists" as a way to "stick it to women".

i thought i read 'men's tears' as 'men's sperms'.

maybe, this is just me, i guess...

Ah, you heard...then it must be true!

Sure, but that doesn't mean that everyone peddling something feminist-related is now an MRA running a scam. Y'all are paranoid.
