I can't, but that is for a few reasons. Most notably, that Bela is barely in the show and the show is told from the perspective of the Winchesters, so we do not ever really see much of her outside of those interactions. For all we know she donates a portion of her money to help abused children. (Not that I am saying she does, just that we would have no reason to know this/be told this given the parameters of the show.)

But can you name me a single person that Bela Gabriel showed us she he truly, genuinely cared about, let along cared about enough to give up something important for their sake when there was absolutely nothing in it for her him? Yet you say you prefer him.

I don't have anything against people who dislike Bela. Not every character is for everyone. I do have an issue with people who like characters such as Gabriel but dislike Bela or who excuse everything that all of the others do but vilify her for similar actions.

You mean apart from abandoning Heaven because he couldn't bear to watch his brothers fight each other anymore and going up against Lucifer for the sake of all humanity and (arguably) dying? He seemed pretty fond of Kali. Moreso than Bela ever showed she was of anyone, at least, and by your logic he was in even fewer episodes than she was. And we don't know that he never went around helping people out either, when he wasn't busy punishing slimeballs.

Gabriel left behind the key to defeating Lucifer. What was Bela's legacy? Oh yeah, she stole the Colt to save her own hide and in so doing, guaranteed Dean would go to Hell, setting the stage for the breaking of the First Seal. And although she admitted she'd screwed up, she didn't even have the decency to say "I'm sorry" when she called him to cry that the Hellhounds were coming for her.

Gabriel was no saint (well, technically...) but he had connections with people. Bela actively and openly avoided forming any. She was a brazen and enthusiastic practitioner of pure Randian self-interest who gave not a single fuck about another living soul, and yeah, I like Gabriel better and I will not apologize for it.

Hell! Not that I have to justify myself to you, but if you want another reason? Gabriel was a dog person and Bela was a cat person and I prefer dogs. So there.
