So what was the best thing to happen to you today?

Mine is that I discovered this morning before work that one of my favorite porny fics has porny art that goes with it. I saved it for when I got home, and I was happy to discover that it is super hot.

Totally makes up for the rest of my mostly miserable day.

I was looking for fic recs in my niche in an LJ comm and actually found a recent thread where someone glowingly recommended my series.

Warm fuzzies? Cuddly toasty fuzzies.

Congrats! It is always nice to find random praise.

That's awesome!

Attended a staff inservice this afternoon with a transgender man as the presenter, discussing things like sexual orientation and mostly gender identification. He was funny, engaging and informative (not that I learned anything new, but I am fairly well educated in those areas, many of our staff are not). Unlike many of our inservices, this one was an hour and half well spent.

I did and interview and the guy was sort of hot.

I'm shallow.

Also mom made nice food.

It is totally okay to be shallow.

I looked up my user name and found that someone had rec'd the Yuletide fic I wrote. They didn't say anything about it but it was on their list. I was really happy with my fic, so that's exciting!

I saw a Disney on Ice show with my little sister! She's been looking forward to it for ages, and it was just really nice to see how happy and excited she was.

I spent most of the day thinking it was Tuesday, but it is Wednesday. Also, I brought the leftover chocolate tapioca pudding I made last night and had forgotten about it until I started feeling peckish in the afternoon and realized I had TAPIOCA PUDDING available to me.

I packed up a box of shit for my upcoming move, and filled another box with shit to get rid of.

It made me feel a lot better, knowing that even though I'm stuck waiting right now, I WILL get out of here one way or another.

Also, I figured out a couple things in RPG Maker! Woo! :D So the game is slowly coming along!

And useful areas of improvement I totally agree with.

I managed to piss off a fandom/SJ tumblr and get blocked.

And I did speak somewhat from ignorance, and I do get their point, but...they're still wrong.

I finished my business card. Now, TO THE PRINTER!

For the first time in weeks, I am not in pain. I never thought I'd be so happy to pay someone for a massage.

I managed to get a book on Henry V AND the stories of Oscar Wilde! It was a pretty good day, but those just took the cake :)
