You have no idea how happy it makes me how many Babylon 5 secrets there are here. Also, I approve of this secret. Wellllllll, that's the thing. Sailor Moon (at least in 'Merica) is popular because of the 90's adaption. Which was VASTLY different from the manga. In the 90's adaption, Usagi actually...does things alone/with her friends, and Mamoru kind of fucks off in the background.

I think the only real difference was the Generals, and they fucking killed them off pointlessly. Like, jesus chris, what was the point of adding in the love plot only to squash it a few episodes later? Arg.
