OP here. Would you care for a chill pill? I have no ships in this fandom, but you'd have to be blind to see that this is how the show is playing it. Note that there's no judgment in that statement of whether or not breaking one's marriage vows is right or wrong, I'm just saying that the show is very conspicuously putting stresses on ALL the relationships here, platonic or romantic and Ichabod and Abbie's is one of them. Whether or not you see their relationship as close friendship or potential romance doesn't matter in this situation, it's an understanding of how the writing builds tension in terms of character conflict.

Oh, and by the way? People who get their knickers in a knot over a fictional marriage sound every bit as crazy as the Ichabbie shippers.

Agreed so fucking much. I don't ship it all that much but the way some people freak the shit out about it is utterly idiotic.
