I am so embarrassed. I was wearing a pad, auntie flow visiting, and when I got to work it is gone.

So it must have become unsticky and the only place I can think is at home! With male housemate! Oh god I hope it's not visible, I don't want him to wake up, go to bathroom and see a bloodied pad on the floor. That's disgusting. I'm horrified. All I what to do is get home and solve the mystery of 'did my bloodied pad fall on to the floor'.

So fucking embarrassing. Fml.

Ugh. I hope you get lucky and no one found it.

But how could you not notice when it fell off? Do people who wear pads all the time get so used to them it's not super noticeable anymore? Because the few times I wear one, however slim, I'm acutely aware of it.

I've been using pads for twenty years now and, yeah, I no longer notice them at all while wearing them.

If you're used to them you may not notice when one gets unstuck. Normally they stick to your pants but if they unfortunately fall out...

I dunno, man. I've been wearing them 20+ years and I'd sure as hell notice. I've never gotten used to them to the point where one could fall out without me noticing.

Same. You get used to them being there, but not to the point where you can't tell the difference between wearing or not wearing one.

And idk what kind OP's using but the adhesive on mine make it hard to take the damn things off at all, let alone that they'd fall off by themselves.

I fucking hate it when this kind of thing happens. Fortunately live with female housemate and 99% of the time I'm on point, but that 1% of the time I fuck up (usually when crampy and miserable and not paying attention) is mortifying. Survivable, but ugh.
