I dunno, but from my experience it does raise the average person's likelihood of being some degree of bisexual. I found out recently my friend's husband would totally jump ship for Colin Firth, and this made him go up quite a bit in my estimation. He's got nice taste in ladies (my friend) and men.

I would argue it's probably less that it makes you bisexual and more that being in California makes it more okay for a dude to acknowledge another dude is hot

Oh God this is so unclassy but man. If twenty years from now we discover that Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto's writer) is a closeted gay man that wouldn't be even a little surprising to me.

lol If you're talking about Naruto and Sasuke...he said their relationship was based brotherly and he took inspiration from his relationship with his own twin brother. So yeah. He also said he didn't do any, if at all, romance in the manga because it embarrasses him. I think from an outside perspective it can look 'gay', but he really didnt meant for it to be anything but brotherly love.

...That does help a little. And his weird ignorance of writing interesting female characters could just be from old-fashioned sexism, but I don't know. I just don't know about that guy. (I'm not saying all gay guys are sexist btw)

As for the "I don't do romance" lol. Why do people with tons of terrible romance in their works always say that? That holds as much weight as fuckin Bryan Konietzko saying he hates forced romance, like please spare me you goddamn LIAR.

Kishimoto didn't put a lot of romance in, though. Look at Sasusaku...it's all one sided. Then there's Naruhina...also one sided. Both canon, too. Hell, all Naruhina got was a chakra hand hold. I think the only partly romantic thing he did was Minakushi, and they were dead sidecharacters.

It was SP's idea to make the movie about Naruhina as well. He made them age up Naruto because he felt uncomfortable with him being in a romantic situation before he was an adult. (It was his idea to do the scarf thing, though, since his wife had knitted one for him)

In all seriousness, Rick Cosnett (plays Eddie Thawne, Iris's boyfriend on the Flash). Whenever I see him onscreen, I just think there's nothing straight about him.
