Sort of.

I've realized that, when shipping canon characters, or at least reading fics with canon characters, I am enjoying (more than I should) the rare-pairs--particularly enemies, or the very good incorruptible character with the one void of any moral compass. I enjoy reading the fics where they build a relationship, but I very much enjoy random smutty hookups they have, in which they both feel some kind of way because they were never supposed to give into such types of urges with THAT character, or feel some bizarre pride at the fact that they broke the other character.

I suppose it's just an interesting dynamic? It certainly gets me excited (not sexually) but it's just so interesting to see!
