Yes and no.

But my 'no' reason is slightly unique in the sense that all my canon ships end tragically with either death for one (or both!) party or eternal separation. Anytime I'm shipping two characters and they actually manage to get together, I whisper in horror, "They're doomed."

I kind of love ships that end in eternal tragic doom / death / separation

Eh, almost all my ships are tragic whether canon or fanon. I'm like an angst magnet.
