(Anonymous) 2015-01-24 01:06 am (UTC)(link)I don't think it's exclusive to the Dragon Age fandom. My old anime fandoms when I was a teen were pretty drama-heavy too. I think the drama in Dragon Age just tends to be more social justice flavoured, and it gets draining if you take it seriously. I think part of it is the relative youth of the fandom. I'm only twenty-eight and I feel like I'm the oldest person on Tumblr. Young'uns aren't good at dealing with people who don't like the same things that they do, in general. I was the same at that age.
