Re: So... Manslamming
but anyway i get the whole manslamming thing to an extent. as a whole, my experience with guys has been that they take up excess space, even at others' expense (usually women). on the bus, the sidewalk, etc. it's one thing if someone makes a slight effort to get out of your way but expects you to match their effort in order to comfortably pass you. that i can understand and i always match people at the very least. but like i said in my experience men are more likely to not even offer up this much. it's an entitlement thing and i understand why it angers so many people who are disadvantaged by it. i just dont personally make it a habit to bump into as many men as possible.
eta: to clarify i agree that all genders do this sometimes, like i said my only direct experience happened to be with a girl. i think it's largely a lack of awareness issue but i also do see a gender element to it at times
