but I've never felt like that name belongs to me. I've always felt it's too clunky and I've always had to explain to people how it's spelt. I only have this name because my mum always wanted to be called it. I use a shortened name that I MUCH prefer.

that's my name too but I prefer Katie because I associate Kathryn with having a stick up the butt personality type.
