Re: If you won the lottery...

First, I'd buy a huge boombox and play a bunch of bragging rap songs as I walk through my workplace and declare, "I QUIT, BITCHES!" before leaving my badge behind. Or at least, I'd consider doing it before my best friends talks me out of it. I think he'd talk me out of it. LOL

Then I'd fix up the house my parents own before putting it up for sale, and buy my parents a new house, one with a lot of land so my mom can garden. I'd pay off any debts they had and put money into their retirement plans so they can retire whenever they wish. I'd also help the rest of my family out by paying off debts they had, and help my younger siblings and nieces by putting money into trust funds for their future.

THEN I'd fix up my car and love it forever. I just paid it off, winning the lotto can't talk me into buying a new car. I'd buy myself a decent house. Not an extravagant one, just one that is nice enough for me to enjoy living in.

I'd get my finances set up so that if I wanted to, I'd never have to work a day in my life again. I'd take my best friend and family on a vacation to Disney World, and then travel a bit more afterwards, probably with just my best friend. Probably just a solid month of vacationing. When I return, I'd go back to school and get a couple of degrees. I'd want to give money to charity, but I'd have to think about which charities to give money to.

While doing all this, I'd have to talk my parents out of giving away money to people who claim to be family, asking for money now that they hear that I have a lot of money.
