I know the definition of "crack ship" varies between people, so just go with whatever fits your own version

Usually for me I end up crack shipping really strange things that no one has ever even written fics for just because a particular scene grabs me and the idea of a particular pairing amuses me.

Like, because of a certain Battle of Five Armies movie scene and because of a certain scene in the Silmarillion, I'm currently crack shipping Galadriel/Sauron and Luthien/Sauron. No idea why, not sure I'd even read fics if they existed, my brain is just amused by the idea.

Have you ever heard of an artist called Phobs? He draws Simirillion art (sorry for thd bad spelling) that is... a little cracky but very good. His style is gorgeous.

(chilton/anyone is a crackship because the guy's such an asshole, but half the fun of shipping it for me is trying to make it work and still be IC)

i also ship vetinari/drumknott. crackship for obvious reasons.

These are beautiful ships, lol. Chilton is hilariously awful.

I think of crack as just odd. Bilbo/Azog. Tony Stark/Martin Crieff. I don't have many.

Bilbo/Azog (or really Azog/anyone) would fall less into my cracky category and more into my creepy category given that I've read actual hurt/comfort fics that include it.

Kya/Lin from LoK. I guess it's not that much of a crack ship because their families were so close that they're bound to have interacted a fair bit when they were younger, but I honestly can't recall if they've had any real interaction in canon so I'll call it a crack ship.

Wonder Woman/Captain America

A lot of my rare ships are considered "crack" ships simply because I guess people don't see any purpose for using a rare character with little development. But I have a bunch of such ships featuring rare characters (like Hotch/Anderson and Sterling/Geary) and I love them.

X-20 and Titan. If you watched it you know it's pretty stupid.

Boromir/Legolas. There's nothing in canon that supports it so I based the ship off the scene where Boromir keeps Legolas from plunging to his death in the Mines of Moria. Any port in a storm. ;-)

There used to be a site that had the MOST cracky random pairings: I think it was a prompt/challenge site (it was on LJ, of that I'm certain), but I've lost track of it over the years.

My favorite crackship from that was Elizabeth I/Che Guevara. To me THAT is the definition of crack. (I don't actually ship that one, ut I do rememberr it because I still remember my brain snagging on it and going "How would you even make that work?"
