Usually for me I end up crack shipping really strange things that no one has ever even written fics for just because a particular scene grabs me and the idea of a particular pairing amuses me.

Like, because of a certain Battle of Five Armies movie scene and because of a certain scene in the Silmarillion, I'm currently crack shipping Galadriel/Sauron and Luthien/Sauron. No idea why, not sure I'd even read fics if they existed, my brain is just amused by the idea.

Have you ever heard of an artist called Phobs? He draws Simirillion art (sorry for thd bad spelling) that is... a little cracky but very good. His style is gorgeous.

Also known as the progenitor of the Sauron-as-a-pretty-anime-boy trend.

I've noticed this trend. And as much as I do think Annatar might have been blonde, the pretty boy trend weirds me out a lot and seems to go hand in hand with the woobifying stuff that bugs me.

I've heard the name mentioned before, but I've never seen his art.
