Not so much a line, but I hate in Death Note fandom when Light's name is "Japanized" into "Raito". Goddammit, his Japanese name is "Light". Yes, there would of course be Japanese phonology, but it's still officially "Light", especially in writing. At the very least, if you insist on "Raito", spell L's name as "Eru."

Haha omfg I forgot about Eru. After a brief stint of trying to read Attack on Titan fic, there was the phonetically written name of the cravat guy that kept bugging me. What was his name?

Oh right. Rivaille. Just call him a pair of jeans already!

Then there's the assholes who call him "Levi Rivaille" (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
