Man, I had something similar happen. I signed up for the Tolkien Big Bang. The Big Bang got through the artist claim. It literally had nothing left but to assign a posting schedule and then let us post. But then the mod just disappeared and was never heard from again. She already did all the hard work (unless someone lost an artist at some point) so I don't understand what happened to her.

Now, there's a Hobbit Big Bang, which is nice and all but I have a lot of non-Hobbit Tolkien stuff I'd love to write for a Big Bang and to see others write. I was looking forward to the stories the authors in the Tolkien Big Bang were going to write. I've found a few by looking for the author directly but it would be so nice to have them in one place. I think some authors gave up. :(

Can you create a collection on AO3 and encourage people who have finished to post it there? I think anybody can make a collection.
