(Anonymous) 2015-01-28 01:46 am (UTC)(link)A lot of the backlash against the fandom came as a result of S3. The reason it was/is/will always be so very very very terrible, is because they pandered 100% to the shrillest minority in the fandom...who very shrilly praised them for it, after the fact. The rest of the fandom just went, "Feh." and turned it off. A few people posted on Tumblr that they didn't think it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, and, yep: DOGPILED. Or unfollowed/ostracized/etc.
