Exactly. If the people involved with the show didn't play up the substance, the viewers wouldn't nitpick the style so much. It's a decent show, but it's not ZOMG BEST SHOW EVARR!!11!!!1 and the more Sherlockians insist it is, the less I like them and the less I like the show.

(My favorite show is Glee. There aren't a lot of positive things said about the show, because honestly, it is a pretty vapid piece of fluff entertainment.)
