Uhura is hated more because:
- she's Spock's girlfriend and gets in the way of the popular slash ship (Kirk/Spock). Reason n.1, and don't let people, especially anon spirk fans in disguise (and this page has plenty), tell you otherwise because it's utter bullshit. One day in this fandom and you will learn what's up.
- she was just a background character in tos that people liked only as a background character and now they are butthurt because she's elevated at the original's trio level and fans of the 'holy trinity' hate her for replacing McCoy
- how dare the black woman, of all the female characters, win Spock's heart? That's just impossible and it must be a bad a thing.
- she's much more a threat than Carol for the reasons stated above.

It's not because she's more beloved as a character (bullshit) or because she is objectively written worse than the other characters ( bullshit) or any other silly excuses some people are hiding behind even in this page.
