Except books/DVDs in general, nothing special. Does ticket stubs from the cinema count?

I say they count if you think they do. I used to save my movie tickets, but then I ended up having way too many and losing them.

It is just the same for me as pictures and other memories, I don't especially collect them for anything except putting them on a board thingy on my wall.

I do count my DVDs as a collection thing, same with my books. But that might be because together they take up about 4 bookcases...

As for your DVDs/books, I'd say that'd be a considerable collection. I have so many books they're mostly in boxes now because I ran out of shelf space. I can only imagine how many bookcases I'll need to display them all.

Yeah, well I am guestimating as I have two bookcases the "correct" size and two that aren't where my books are mostly piled and such. Yeah, it is an issue, I am not looking forward to boxing it all up this Summer when I have to move.

I collect all kinds of tickets myself! Cinema tickets, train tickets (those are pretty special to me since trains don't usually let me keep tickets in my experience), bus tickets (except for the bus I used to take to college since I took that twice a day, not really special), and aeroplane tickets. I'd really love to keep a ticket from a ferry or boat ride someday but I haven't got any tickets I could keep from those yet.

I do that too! I have birthday/Christmas cards going back to when I was a kid also. And drawings my family members drew me and random stuff, like the paper plane I made first day of class this year. (well a lot of us made paper planes that day, nto just me). Wait why don't you get to keep your train ticket? What if there is a random ticket control? How do you prove that you have paid?

I keep a lot of stuff that happened in my life, and hang it up on my wall, or put it in boxes.

I would keep cards if I ever got them but people haven't given me cards since I was 9, excepting an Eid card my crush gave me when I was 11 haha. It would be great to do that, you get to look back and remember what it was like at each age and occasion!

Over here it's get a ticket -> go on board -> alight and give the machine your ticket so it knows you arrived at the right station. The only train ticket I got to keep is from Australia, when I went on a steam train that was a popular tourist attraction.
