Usually I just hang up, but a while ago I kept getting called by the same number repeatedly (I answered the first time and then hung up when I realized it was a telemarketer, and then immediately the phone rang again). I ignored it but they just kept calling and it freaked me out a little, so when they called again, I answered and told them to stop calling. But it didn't stop, so I just turned the ringer off for a while.
