Re: Old fandoms you revisit

I am not sure it counts as "revisiting" as I do it quite frequently, but I tend to haveHarry Potter as my go-to fandom for fic when nothing for my current fandom seems interesting.

When I first got into The Hobbit, I did go back and look at a couple of old fics I read when I was in LotR the first time around (in 2004). One fic was still as good as I originally thought (a reminder of my first OTP, Aragorn/Boromir) while another - a fic I'd downloaded and kept a copy of - managed to make me groan at how my tastes were so pathetic.

It was a case of going back to reread old fic (again, in LotR) that made me realise my pet peeve about soulbonding fics, and how I hate it when soulbonds force people to fall in love.

Other than that, I might occasionally go poke through my Favourites list on FFN (I have a huge list, with over 1000 fics on it) and reread the occasional fic and that might cause me to read a few others in the same fandom. More often than not, it's either HP or one of my "minor fandoms" like Sailor Moon or Ranma 1/2.
