Text: I just started watching this series recently. I’ve heard plenty about how terrible it was. Bad animation, bad dubbing, obnoxious characters, everything.

And none of that is wrong.

But I ship these two hard enough to make up for every last one of its flaws.

S!B: It really is pretty bad in a lot of ways. Also, it aired twelve years ago.

Heyyyyyy Armada secret! And adult Alexis too! ♥

The dub was pretty dumb, but I actually liked Alexis quite a bit in it (Hot Shot and Megatron's voice too tbf). The fanart for her and Starscream is generally pretty cute imo, so that's a nice bonus.

Also, if you have the time to rewatch, there's a fansub available that actually improves the show. Well, okay tbf it's still a stupid show, but at least it doesn't sound terrible nearly all of the time and the characters don't spout nonsentences as frequently. And Carlos doesn't make me want to bulldoze a Taco Bell.

Oh yeah, I have to hunker down and watch the Unicron Trilogy someday, don't I? I kind of don't want to (if not for the daunting number of episodes I have to sit through), but I'm trying to make an attempt to see other TF series I missed.

So...just how bad IS Transformers Energon anyway?

Armada is secretly my favourite TF show, mostly because of Starscream. As for shipping him and Alexis, you're definitely not alone in fandom for doing that! They had a really compelling friendship on screen, which made it easy to ship them.
