I don't want to be "that ESL" who keeps making mistakes and people don't take seriously because of that.

I already had enough bad experiences with that and even though my English has improved since then, I don't want to my opinions to be disregarded just because I couldn't express myself well before.

I also don't want to give a bad name to ESLs, so my fear is double.

Seeing how popular this ship is, I'd say it an unpopular opinion. There was a lot of deliberate UST there.
You might have added a 'secret coz'' line, idk.
I don't ship them either because in my opinion they work better as friends. I rarely buy a friends as kids, lovers when older premise. Doramas often have this element and I'm like 'bleh, not this again'.

Out of curiosity, are you French? I only ask because The Pretender had a huge French fanbase back in the day, and their promotional materials seemed to push Miss Parker/Jared even harder than the US ones did.

The ship's quite popular in English fic achieves actually. It's the most popular ship. There's also some Jared/character played by the Burn Notice actor fics, but fewer by far. And some gen.
