At it's even the most reasonable choice when you sit back and look at all the character dynamics. It's nice that it wasn't there just to be "the gay option". It was more like Lisa and Maya were there to be the "oh so you don't want to be gay options".

May I ask how gay the game is? Is their relationship a very minor point? I'm starving for LGBT relationships in games, most of the time queer characters are a joke or offensive as hell.

DA - I haven't played Persona 2, but I can recommend Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and the translated Fire Emblem series outside the latest one for LGB relationship options if you're looking for recs.

Their relationship isn't that big of a thing, but it isn't when it's one of the straight ones either. The good part is that they're an affectionate, healthy couple and the other party members are supportive of them.

Jun is a little bit of a stereotype. He's effeminate, he has mother issues, and for one of the demon contact options Lisa puts makeup on him and then gets all annoyed because he pulls it off better than she does. His weapons are FLOWERS. However, he's also in an alternative school because he maimed any kid who called him girly, and all the demons are pretty damn terrified of him for legit reasons. There are a whole lot of things that go into his character that are story spoilers, but he ends up being a pretty complex character.

I remember it being given the same amount of attention as the characters got in general, but the game itself is Nintendo Hard in a dated way. I played the PSP redo and only got through because I wanted to see how it ended.

(Biggest example and personal peeve: random encounters even happen when you're stuck in automatic movements. You could be whizzing around a floor without any way to control it and BAM, encounter.)

I did like how the demons were handled and the story in general, but it's also splintered over two games and you would have to be good at dealing with older games/enjoy tough challenges. We never got the PSP touch-up for the second game, either.

Hitler also shows up in the story.
