Enh, I'm at the point where I find such a concept really leery. I prefer to just bounce from group to group, make my friends, and then GTFO. Any group that has that level of closeness just sends off warning bells for me.

I don't want to be rude and I'm hoping I won't offend, but isn't your system pretty much a close group like that?

Yes, but I consider it a bit different. We CAN'T get away from each other, so it's in our best interest to get along with each other. I figure we're more like the chain gang who HAS to get along or we all get screwed.

I'd be extremely creeped out having that dynamic anywhere else, though.
