Yeah that's pretty valid.

Even if I think there's a point somewhere in there that I might basically agree with, I think it's a really poorly written article that makes that point poorly.

I think the point got across perfectly fine. PC is anti-liberal and extremely oversensitive. When you take anything as a slight, you lose track of actually sexism/racism/etc in front of you. I mean, Christ, not putting on Vagina Monologues because it doesn't include trans women? It's almost as bad as not being allowed to call female reproductive organs 'Female reproductive organs" instead of the pc term "Some sexual reproductive organs some women can have, but not all women have"

I don't think that he does a good job at getting at the reasons why PC is anti-liberal. He sort of stays stuck in a combination of dumb tactical blathering, an overemphasis on specific examples of people on the left being stupid, and (for all that he's trying to argue against this very position) hurt feelings.

I think being afraid of voicing one's views goes a bit beyond mere hurt feelings.

In any case, the point was made perfectly well: PC is anti-liberal because it silences dissent, and because its measure of success is the extent to which it's made people afraid to disagree rather than the extent to which it's actually changed minds.

The irony of the whole Vagina Monologues thing is that it actually contains a piece about transwomen.

You used poorly twice in a sentence. You do not write well enough to be taken seriously, I'm sorry.

I just want to see less blatant hatred, whatever form it takes. If acceptance isn't on the table, at least some form of tolerance should be.
