Thank you. This is reassuring. I do tend to get paranoid over these things. I guess I will try sending her asks every once in a while, and I'll keep her informed about the most important events that happen to me. Maybe that'll do the trick.

I'm also pretty chill with being very fond of people to whom I don't talk a whole lot (one of the best people I've ever known is a guy to whom I haven't spoken in over two years now), but it does worry me that she might not feel the same way and that she might think I'm being unfriendly.

Ah, well. We shall see. It'll all resolve itself somehow in the end.
