I like the idea of bubble bath because then it washes away. I bought some bath thing from Lush because I love bubble baths. No, Lush, the product didn't blend in well with the water and the smell wasn't as nice either.

My favorite bath stuff is the Bath and Body Works Stress Relief Eucalyptus and Spearmint bubble bath. It smells soooo good.

Oh my gracious that sounds WONDERFUL. Does it make your skin tingle at all?

Not mine at all. Really, it's like a thicker shower gel from bath and body works so there's no residue feeling at all.

If nothing else, you should go smell it. They also sell a eucalyptus mint candle and it is FABULOUS!!!

It sounds absolutely glorious. I LOVE the smell of mint, and eucalyptus is quite nice too.

Was it one of their actual bubble bath bars or a bomb? I had tons of people almost grab the latter before I explained the differences, but even then some of them seemed to be half and half for how well they would probably work.

That said, I like liquid better, too. I wish places had more combo stuff to appeal to my laziness. That Eucalyptus and Spearmint also smelled way better that I thought it would. I'm not a mint fan at all.

I bought the Over the Rainbow bath stuff. I'm not sure if it was a bar or bomb, but the salesgirl told me to break it under the hot water. It did make bubbles, but I was disappointed. Mostly because I love my bath and body works ones so much that I have a weekly bath to relax.

I think I know which one you mean. Was it this?

http://www.lushusa.com/Dorothy/03068,en_US,pd.html

That's one of the ones I like to smell, but can't see working too well. I also check a Lush review blog run by an intense collector before buying anything, and it looks like their experience with it went the same way.

A weekly bath sounds great! I should try to get into the habit.

Edited because I can't remember the fancy code for the life of me.

Yes that's it!! And yeah, I wasn't that impressed with it.

I got into the habit while I was in grad school and had Monday mornings off, so I would take a nice long relaxing bath Sunday nights. Usually accompanied with a glass of wine. I just kept up with the tradition after I graduated because it's so relaxing. I put music on and just lay back with no distractions for an hour.

Whoo! I guessed right!

I feel like I could do baths easily if I got over the sense of having to already be clean first. The only time it works okay for me is when houses are built with separate showers and baths. It's nice when we find relaxing methods we can stick to, though. I may try again if I find a book I can't leave alone.

Ah for me, I like to soak in the bath and then take a shower afterwards. My house has a shower/tub, so sometimes I will take the shower first and then let the water fill up afterwards. Most of the time I have the water run, relax in bubbles and water for an hour and then take a quick shower.

I can't read in the bath, I'm always too afraid I'll ruin the book.

I've been meaning to find a good stand so I don't have to worry about that same thing. I'm not clumsy, but you never know!

That reverse bathing also sounds way more workable for me. I have a shower/tub, too. I may test it over the weekend and see how I do! Thanks for the tips.
