Text: I’ve always had the biggest crush on him and ship him hard with the MC, but his pronounced gay panic is killing it for me.

I know there’s a running joke in fandom that he’s closeted and that’s why he’s so panicked. But it never read that way for me. He just seems like a typical straight boy who’s real uncomfortable about gayness and being kind of a jerk about it.

I’ve been slashing dudes for years, canon sexual preferences be damned, but somehow I cannot get past this.

This bothers me more than I care to admit.
