Everything I've read about this says that the marriage was consummated at age nine. She was betrothed at 6 or 7. And the marriage was consummated at 9 (although some do say she may have been 12, not that that is better).

There are Muslims that think she was older. I do know that some think she was 19. If so, that's okay with me.

But if you idolize a man that had sex with a little girl (whether she was 9 or 12 doesn't matter to me), then, yeah, I think you're fucking creepy.

You can still like aspects of Islam and treat it as your religion. Just like you can still like Roman Polanski films even though he raped a 12 year old girl.

But you don't get to pretend that Muhammad was a good man. He might have had some good teachings, but he wasn't a good man (unless you believe that his wife was older, such as those who think she was 19). You certainly have no right to get upset that people are drawing cartoons making fun of a child rapist.

Most child rapist didn't married their victim, for what i recalled. And he married older woman first. I thought aisha was the last girl or woman that him going to married. And you never hear aisha side of story.

Good to know fucking children doesn't qualify as rape now if you marry them. We should start having child marriages like Muslim countries do. Problem solved.
