My name for the team is the 'Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area Angels of Anaheim."

The Angels aren't in LA. They've only ever been in Anaheim. The name should reflect that.

Actually, that's not strictly true! When they first joined the league as an expansion in 1961, they were at LA's Wrigley Field (the former PCL Angels' field; my dad saw both Angels there as a kid); and from 1962-5, they shared Chavez Ravine with the Dodgers. Next year will be 50 at the Big A though!
