At the Yule ball my school held in 7th grade I declined to dance with a guy because he was shorter than me. (I was at the time about 170 cm tall and he was at least 20 cm shorter than me) I didn't tell him that was the reason though.

It's so silly, and almost 10 years past now, but some times I just think back to that moment and feel so guilty.

Eh, I was at this holiday camp once, and I was pretty much consistently the tallest person in class until age 13 or so, when boys started catching up.


In any case, I danced with this boy who was m age, but his face was at literally boob height.

It was awkward.

So, I do not entirely blame you. My current bf is shorter (just not that much shorter), but I think people just do care more at a oung age anyway. At least you didn't say it.

I think if you didn't tell him that was the reason then it's okay. It hurts a lot more when you tell someone that's why.

At least as a tall girl it always hurt when I found out guys didn't want to date someone taller then them. And I've known some short guys to be sensitive about their height as well.
