No, you're not. I feel a little weird when IP logging is on because there have been times in the past where I've been a jerk, which is something I hope I have gotten better about, but he only turns it on when things are getting really obnoxious. And he's not as willy-nilly about freezing threads as some people think he is. I think it makes the community better when threads that are just there for wank are frozen.

I really do think the people who think he goes overboard are the people who like starting shit and don't like it when it's harder to do that.

I kind of agree. I didn't see much harm in the stuff that was frozen. It was pointlessly wanky, sure, and the same old arguments that I didn't feel like rehashing myself, but that happens all the time. I'm not really that bothered by it though. Just a bit surprised that they were frozen.
