I honestly specifically ignore my follower list on tumblr to prevent psyching myself out on this. It's way too easy to get way too invested in the folks who are following you. (Especially since with other multis, we might get added, removed, re-added, and RE-removed within the course of a week.)

What really bothers me is when people post something on a sensitive topic, then post about how many followers they "lost" because of that one post. I remember that for a while, I kept following someone for fear one day I'd leave and I'd just be pegged as one of the "lost." (Then I realized that was a creepy, stupid reason to follow someone and unfollowed them and felt much better.)
