Huh, I always thought she did those typos intentionally. Iirc Dirk commented on something like that? That they never knew when she was sober and when she wasn't because that's her writting style? Or maybe my mind is making that up.

Anyway, don't feel bad, OP. I think that's her quirk.

She admitted to making one particular typo intentionally, and Jane once accused her of misspelling things on purpose. I think most of them are genuine, though -- she doesn't really do them anymore after she quits drinking.

I think she just has bad typing and spelling drunk or sober. If's she touch typing a lot and isn't very good at it (And it's not like she would have had a lot of people encouraging her to spell and type 'correctly') it would explain a lot.

It does seem like she played up the funny typos schtick a lot. But she herself says that back when she was drinking she made a big show of being a fun bubbly happy drunk to distract from the idea that she might have an actual problem.

After she stops drinking her text style is still very very lazy and informal, lots of chatspeak and abbreviations, but she doesn't straight-up misspell things the way she used to. No problems pulling out big words like the smart girl she is, no *corrections. Not even during the trickster-hangover-which-in-her-case-was-simultaneously-a-normal-hangover!

This week on things I probably notice too much.

Text: It makes me way too sad when fic set after she sobers up (which most of it is!) still fills her text with typos.

I know it’s just a dumb mistake but I legitimately feel bad every time.
