So you just... picked up Japanese through anime?

I mean those fansubbers suck and all, but really? or did you actually go through the effort of learning Japanese? (assuming we're talking about Japanese and anime, just a guess)

I was actually guessing K-Drama. Anime subbers seem like they mostly want e-peen through popularity, so that doesn't sound like anime (manga scanlators on the other side...)

nah, not kdramas. I'm guessing Jpop or Japanese variety. those fansubbers are complete nutheads about the security of their subs.

Most anime now a days have offical subs, so it's really unlikely it's that. Fansub groups mostly sub shows that already have them so they're better than the offical release.

(Though if it is, I have a mile long list of cool unsubbed old shows OP should totally consider subbing.)

My problem is that finding seeded raws of old anime seems to be very hit and miss. I have a decent stockpile that will technically take me years (if not decades XD) to get through, but more recommendations are always welcome. Only thing I don't care for is mecha.

But to give you a better idea of what I like best, I currently have raws and am poking at "Hanazono no Himitsu", "Aishite Night" and possibly "Stop!! Hibari-kun".
