Yeah, I mean there is a reason you shouldn't give your pets poultry that still contains bones, why would you eat them voluntarily?
Then again, people eat fugu.

You're better at chewing? The not feeding your pets un-de-boned poultry is mostly so the bones don't get stuck, since they're so fragile and small and breaky easily, and they're crunchy and delicious if you're a careful eater.

AFAIK, it's not just the "getting stuck" that's dangerous, it's the "broken hollow bones are sharp as fuck and can cut you/your pet". And just because you can eat something doesn't mean it's a great idea to do it. You can eat the berries of yew trees, but you shouldn't because the seeds can and will kill you if you accidentally bite on them.
