Same here, no one cares. Heck even the trans* person in my class isn't talked about or "shunned" and she is transitioning (is that the right word?) currently, as in we didn't know the first almost two years of knowing her. So why would we care about someone dressing nicely or not so nicely? And yeah my Uni is also quite well regarded, but then again Uni is free in Norway and anyone can go so my class is filled with all social classes, from dirt poor (me) to hella rich (the girl in my class who grew up traveling the world) and the dude who goes sailing during the Summer. Also anything in between.

I dunno? As a poor person I know a lot of poor people don't really like people who look or act wealthy so it might be a part of why she has trouble fitting in?

Your Uni sounds very cool. Everyone seemed straight in mine.
It's strange because I didn't even get the sense that OP wears anything that expensive. Vool cardigan is not very posh. Maybe the ipad is the culprit.
