I would do the same thing. It's stupid, and I'm a grown adult, but it's still the only house I identify with. Perhaps because it's the one we learn the least about so it's easiest to self-project onto. Ravenclaw for second choice for the same reason.

For me, I think, Ravenclaw would be a more obvious fit but I kind of consciously would want to be in Hufflepuff, just because I think I would enjoy it more and it would be better for me as a person. I think the virtues of Hufflepuff are more important, even if I currently have more of the virtues of Ravenclaw.

I think this the same for me. Hufflepuff qualities are what I aspire to. Ravenclaw ones are what I currently have, but intelligence and a thirst for learning aren't everything, as I appreciate all the more as I get older.
