"For Love or Money" starring Michael J. Fox is pretty cute. Yeah, it's got the standard "liar" plot, but as that plot goes, it's handled much less awkwardly than other films.

If you're ok with older movies, I have even more suggestions;

"Ninotchka" starring Greta Garbo is very charming, though a little dated with the Soviet Russia references.

"The Lady Eve" has fantastic chemistry between the leads, which takes what should be a painful premise and makes it funny and playful.

"That Night in Rio" is more comedy than romantic comedy, but there's a cute romantic relationship in there.

"Operation Petticoat" stars Cary Grant, so that right there is always a plus.

Lord, I watch too many movies...

I was raised on a steady diet of Cary Grant comedy, and Operation Petticoat is still one of my favorite movies. Thanks for bringing it to mind; I should rewatch it in the near future.

I love old movies (was in fact going to ask for recs of old musicals too but decided to go one at a time) so that's not a problem at all :D I just looked up all of these, they all sound absolutely charming. That Night in Rio especially has caught my eye, can't wait to check it out <3 Thanks!
