I thought part of the whole character was that s/he still wanted someone to think she was a pretty girl and love her, even though she coached football, was really big n burly. I always remember that conversation from that one episode in season one or two. Granted, that's also when I stopped watching, so maybe that's why.

I really liked that about her character. It was something I identified with (I know, I know, it's Glee), and I guess now that's... gone?
