From the horse's Tom Felton's mouth: they did bleach his eyebrows and he looked weird -- so much so, the kids he was at school with made his life a misery -- so they dyed them back again.

An actor's looks and persona are an integral part of the character he creates (and we all know how much writers rely on the actor's physical presence to turn incoherent characterisation, changing from episode to episode, into a coherent character).

Personally, I write Draco fics for the challenge of making a total git at least understandable, and maybe a bit likeable, without making him too OOC.

If you actually manage that, you're a better writer than about 90% of the Draco fic-writers I've come across, and I'm actually quite curious now.

Um, well... I enjoy the challenge, but that doesn't mean I always succeed! They're all Dramione, not Drarry. I think this is probably the best one, Draco's character-wise:

This one started off with Draco far too nice, but I edited his dialogue, keeping the meaning but making him much more self-centred (which I think is the root of his problem: he's not really evil, he's just all 'me, me, me,' and cowardly), so I'm sort of pleased with the result:

And this is the most popular story I've ever written, and I've no idea why:

There are lots of others posted under the same username. (I use a different username for fics).
