I don't particularly care about the representation issues, I want to know if the last act has the same level of preachy, moralistic, coerced badness as ME3, DA2, and TOR.

The Old Republic had preachy, moralistic, coerced badness in their endings? The only one I can think of, off-hand, that actually made you feel bad for being bad was the Jedi Knight ending.

But DAI's ending isn't great, but only because it's clearly the set up for something bigger, not because it's preachy or anything.

I never got to the TOR endings, I was turned off by the preachy, moralistic, coerced badness of missions about extra-judicial rendition, domestic abuse, colonialism, and land mines.
