Mild spoiler - the CGI is only for about 15 minutes. The rest is hand drawn like the show. It wasn't necessarily witty or clever, but it was entertaining.

I'm actually really glad to hear that but it's strange to me that they were really pushing the cg in the adverts, I get that 3d is popular but I also know a lot of people were turned off by it.

I'll probably give it a chance when it comes out on dvd or online.

I really liked the CGI to be honest. It integrated really well with the live action. Mind I didn't see it in 3D.
