(Anonymous) 2015-02-07 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)I parse the MRM as a reactionary "We only care about mens rights" moment that should be wholly unnecessary, but in the absence of anything better has become the only real support, the only truely safe place for genuinely disenfranchised males victims of shitty societal pressures. I won't lie, it's also where the shit-heels who resent feminism for even existing go to bash women. It's a cancer on the movement, just like the man-haters drawn to feminism are a cancer. The only answer is to pitch in, get ready to take a phenomainal amount of shit, and not walk away from the people who need these labels.
